Our kitchen, honestly
A curious kitchen, with room for everyone at the table.
Private Kitchen is an English-language recipe project organized around dishes from Asia, Europe and North America. It is being developed by George Lam, with an interest in making everyday cooking easier to explore.
What this first collection is
Our 390 standard recipes are AI-assisted editorial home-cooking adaptations, not a record of dishes personally cooked or tested by George. Ingredient quantities, timing and substitutions need kitchen review before we describe a recipe as tested.
The premium collection
The additional 30 premium recipes are concise Private Kitchen home adaptations of published chef recipes. Each credits the chef and links to its source and restaurant reference. They do not claim chef endorsement or MICHELIN recognition for our site or recipes.
Respecting different food traditions
A country or country page is a browsing starting point. It does not represent every regional tradition or claim one definitive authentic version. Adaptations are described where they affect ingredients or technique. Hong Kong is listed as a separate culinary destination for browsing.
Photography and trust
Food photographs are AI-generated serving suggestions, not photographs of tested results. New recipe drafts use clearly labelled editorial illustrations until their own photography is available. We do not publish invented ratings, reader reviews or test results. Nutrition panels are illustrative ingredient-based estimates, with their method and limitations disclosed.
Corrections and future testing
Send corrections with the recipe URL and the exact issue. When a recipe is tested, its actual changes and testing date should be recorded. Safety information links to official guidance.
Advertising
Private Kitchen is applying to Google AdSense and includes its advertising and consent-management tag. Ads depend on Google approval and account settings. We currently have no affiliate links. Any future commercial relationships will be disclosed. A recipe collection does not guarantee search rankings or advertising approval.
